She has worked extensively as a writer of marketing materials, speeches, video scripts and public relations pieces for Fortune 500 companies from Merrill Lynch to Chase Manhattan Bank.
As Manager of Marketing and Communications for Chase Manhattan’s Global Electronic Banking, she managed worldwide advertising and publicity, produced marketing, training and sales tools for our global sales force, organized conferences and trade shows, wrote speeches for the Global Bank Senior Vice President, and established a successful identity program along with extensive public relations recognition.
For Chemical Bank Branch Mangers and the Consumer Banking Group, she created training, orientation programs, and leader’s guides.
Her work has been published on subjects from banking, technology and real estate to feminism, alternative medicine and psychology.
Features
Naomi wrote Hedda’s Story, the cover story for People Magazine on domestic violence, and was invited to speak at various venues on the subject.

She is the co-author of What The IRS Doesn’t Want You to Know, eight editions, published by Villard, a Division of Random House. This book was favorably reviewed by The New York Times, Barrons, Wall Street Journal, and featured as a cover story in Money Magazine. It made the Business Week Best Seller List, 5/95, was chosen by the Book of the Month Club, developed as a CD-ROM course by National Tax Institute, and selected by Intuit as their direct mail premium.
A bevy of excellent reviews appeared in Forbes, Kiplingers, Bloomberg Business News, The New Yorker, Newsweek, USA Today, Medical Economics and Parade.

Naomi appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show after she wrote the cover story for People Magazine on the subject of domestic violence. This led to several interviews on radio and television news shows, and being featured twice on the A & E program, American Justice.
After What the IRS Doesn’t Want You to Know was published, she was featured with her co-author, Martin Kaplin on the Derick McGinty radio show. Mr. Kaplan appeared on CNBC, Sonnie Block, and Ollie North radio shows.
Awards
She won first place award from the National Council of Family Relations for writing Overcoming Inferiority, and Honorable Mention for writing Teenage Pregnancy and Prevention, sound-filmstrip programs produced by Human Relations Media, Pleasantville, New York.
In the corporate world her work received awards from Printing Industries of America, Package Design Council, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Art Directors Club and Industrial Design Magazine.
